Abstract
A book comprises a plurality of sheets, each sheet being folded in a zone constituting a back of the book to provide two leaves, at least one first sheet having one of the leaves thereof arranged between the two leaves of a second sheet and the other leaf thereof arranged between the two leaves of a third sheet.

Claims
I claim:

1. A book comprising a plurality of sheets, each sheet being folded in a zone constituting a back of the book along an axis of symmetry extending between two opposite edges of the sheets to provide a first leaf and a second leaf, at least one first one of the sheets having the first leaf thereof arranged between the two leaves of a second one of the sheets and the second leaf thereof arranged between the two leaves of a third one of the sheets, the first sheet having two cut-outs extending along the axis of symmetry from the opposite edges towards the center, and the second and third sheets having a slot-shaped cut-out extending along the axis of symmetry in the center, the leaves of the first sheet being insertable into the slot-shaped cut-outs in the second and third sheets.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The invention relates to a book with a plurality of sheets each comprising two leaves which are folded in the zone of the book back.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Books are known which consist of a plurality of leaves which are sown or glued together at the book back. The term "book" as stated hereinunder shall mean a product comprising a plurality of leaves connected to each other, which also includes booklets, brochures and the like. In known books it is often the case that two leaves form a sheet which is folded in the center. Often several such sheets are stuck within each other, so that the first and the last leaf of a book belong to one sheet, the second and one but last leaf belong to the next sheet and so forth. In order to ensure the cohesion it is necessary to either glue or sow them together. This is expensive and thus limits the possible number of pages in a book. It is possible that a book is compiled from several such partial books, but this solution is also very difficult to achieve.

A book configured for easy carrying comprises a continuous cover and a fastener fixed to the cover for securing paper thereto. The continuous cover includes...  A book which comprises: first and second rigid covers, a plurality of rigid pages, and binding means attached to an edge of each rigid cover and each rigid...
